Coventry’s Storytellers
Coventry’s Storytellers celebrates culture and diversity in Coventry through alternative photography processes and storytelling in a series of free workshops held by Jon Legge and Ruby Nixon. The most important element of this project was encouraging our participants to find their voice to tell their own story. Through our exhibition, we shared the stories behind a variety of people from Foleshill, told through cyanotype printing and shared in a pop-up exhibition.
Project led by Ruby Nixon in collaboration with Foleshill Creates, funded by City of Culture 2021 and Coventry University and with support from Ludic Rooms.

“I can't meet face to face so did the session at home. I am so so grateful for this and felt so included. I had the session videos sent to me, I had a pack of materials sent to me and clear instructions. I could email and text people if I needed to ask anything and I just felt so so happy that I could take part and I really am grateful, thank you so much.”
